1. Materials and methods
It is an effective component with Al2O3 content ≥ 30%. Add solid polyaluminium chloride into water, stir continuously to form a solution, and then transport it to the mixing tank. It is calculated according to the dosage of 11-13 kg per kiloton.
2. Changes of water quality before and after treatment
The fluoride content is 14.6mg/l. After adding polyaluminium chloride, the fluorine content of factory water is 0.4-1.0ml/l, and the removal rate is 33% – 75%. The turbidity is 0.5-2 degrees and the removal rate is 83% – 98%. Other indicators such as fluoride, sulfate, total hardness and nitrate have no obvious change.
3. Factors affecting fluoride removal effect
The dosage shall be appropriately increased according to the change of water quality of water source to achieve the ideal effect. When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, the fluoride removal effect of polyaluminium chloride will be reduced. It is suggested that the indoor mixing tank and sedimentation tank should be maintained at a certain room temperature to ensure the effective purification of water quality.
Therefore, in general, although polyaluminium chloride has the function of removing fluorine, we must pay attention to its addition amount and addition method. In addition, the temperature of the use environment will also affect its effect, so we should also pay attention to it.
