Yellow PAC: Yellow PAC is divided into light yellow and dark yellow. The main raw materials of light yellow PAC are: aluminum hydroxide, hydrochloric acid and a small amount of calcium aluminate powder. The process adopted is the plate and frame filter press process or the spray drying process. Mainly used in the field of drinking water purification. There are strict requirements for heavy metal content.
Main raw materials of dark yellow PAC: calcium aluminate powder, hydrochloric acid, bauxite; mainly used in the field of sewage treatment. Generally produced by drum drying, there are two solid forms of flake and powder.
Tan PAC: Main raw materials: calcium aluminate powder, hydrochloric acid, bauxite and iron powder. Production process: drum drying method; generally used for sewage treatment, the color is tan because iron powder is added in it. If the iron powder exceeds a certain amount, it is also called polyaluminum ferric chloride at Sewage treatment hair noodles have excellent results.
To put it simply, the water purification type (white or light yellow) is purer, and the sewage type (dark yellow or tan) has more impurities, especially iron ions.
Besides, in the current domestic sewage purification field, the sewage after deep purification by double-membrane method (ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis) is not recommended for domestic drinking (the water treated by sewage purification is not recommended for domestic drinking), but only as reclaimed water. Utilize supplementary to industrial circulating water.
